Louis Smith who was dual registered with Taunton and Bridgwater in the 2025/26 season has joined Tiverton. He won plenty of admirers for his performances in the Western League for the Robins.
Our media team caught up with the young Gloveman at Ladysmead and he stated;

“I'm very excited to join the club. My previous club Bridgwater were in the Western Prem division, but obviously now it's good for me to make the step up to the Southern League. I feel like I'm ready for it and confident”
Discussing how he felt about the campaign ahead with the Yellows’ and being aware of Tiverton’s successful history, he remarked;
“If you look around, it's a huge club with massive potential and I feel like we hopefully will have a good season and get the club back to where it belongs”.
Showing promise at an early age, the 19 year old's emergence has seen him quickly adapt to senior football. Coming through Bristol Manor Farm's youth set up, his progress saw him make a handful of appearances for the first team.
He signed for Keynsham and the then 16 year old's displays were acknowledged with him receiving the Young Player of the Season award, before joining strong Hellenic League side Corsham.
He has developed a strong working relationship with new director of football Lee Lashenko in his career so far and said;
“I've known Lee for a few years now. I was a youngster coming through at Manor Farm when I first met him. He took me to Bridgwater with him, I think he's a really good bloke and knows his football really well. He'll help and be important in getting this club back to where it should be.”
