Technical and experienced midfield-man Billy Tucker is the latest addition to Tiverton's expanding roster of players. He joins a healthy contingent of the squad to have been with Bridgwater in the previous campaign and is relishing running out at the Slee Blackwell Stadium.

With an eye for a telling pass and good close control, 31 yr old Tucker said of his footballing attributes when chatting to the media team;
“I'm a creative midfielder, I try to get as many assists as I can, pop in with a few goals and try to help the team win games.”
His senior career took off at Bideford and he had a fruitful association with the North Devon side. First appearing for them in the 2012/13 season and even making an appearance last term. He has played over 200 games for them.
Barnstaple based Tucker also had a couple of spells with Barum and was a popular figure at the club. In the 2024/25 season he was playing in this division for Cornwall side Helston and will bring invaluable experience to the Yellows’.
On explaining why chose to sign for Asa Hall's men, referencing his ex manager, our new director of football Lee Lashenko, he said;
“I spoke to Lee a few times and it was the best option for me. It's going to be a club that's on the up, starting afresh and bringing new faces in. So yeah, I made the decision to come across.”
Looking ahead to his hopes and ambitions for Tiverton this term, he remarked;
“I'm hoping for a successful season and to win games. With a good pre- season behind us, it will help the new faces to gel and hopefully we will finish as high up the table as we can.
I'm buzzing for it. It's a big club, Tiverton and I'm excited to come out and play in front of the fans.”
A warm welcome Billy!
