Bright defensive prospect Flowers arrives at the Slee Blackwell Solicitors Stadium

Plymouth based defender Lewis Flowers who was at Argyle from a relatively young age, until he was released recently, is highly regarded. The Yellows’ have moved swiftly to add the blossoming 18 year old to their ranks. 

Looking back on his time as a Pilgrim which was spent progressing through the ranks, over Eleven formative years in a professional environment, he commented;

“So I was there from seven years old, all the way through to Eighteen. There was a lot of technical work and then going into the 18's it's more about winning, you wanna win games. So I'm bringing pretty much everything I've learnt, to try and do the same here.”

He expressed to the media team how much he is looking forward to playing for Tiverton and said positively;

“I’m really excited, it’s a new challenge for me. So I can’t wait to get started going into Pre-season.” 

There will have been many interested parties in him and he was an Under 18 last season at Home Park. For the run in of the 2025/26 campaign the cultured youngster had a loan stint at Tavistock and the experience he gained at the Lambs will serve him well, going forward.

Acknowledging his time with Tavvy and discussing the type of footballer he is, he continued;

“I had a little bit of experience at Tavistock last year and enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to making the same impact here and enjoying it as well. 

I'm a defender, normally a full back who can play centre back also. I want to win my defensive duels and don't mind joining the attack also.”

He joins an ever growing squad and will be looking to create a good impression at Tiverton and is an exciting arrival.
