Tiverton Town FC Introduces Cashless Payments at Selected Matchday Locations

Tiverton Town Football Club would like to inform supporters of an important change to our matchday payment arrangements.

From the start of the new season (including pre season), payments at the turnstiles, kitchen and tea shed will be card payment only. This change has been made following careful consideration by the Club.

Like many organisations, we have been affected by the continuing closure of high street bank branches and the increasing costs associated with handling, transporting and banking cash. As a community football club, we have a responsibility to manage our finances carefully, and moving to cashless payments in these areas will help us reduce unnecessary costs and improve efficiency on matchdays.

We appreciate that some supporters still prefer to use cash, and we are pleased to confirm that cash will continue to be accepted at:

•⁠  ⁠The 50/50 draw
•⁠  ⁠The Sports Bar

For supporters who are unable to pay by card at the turnstiles on the day, we would also like to remind you that match tickets can be purchased in advance online via Fanbase, making entry quick and easy.

We understand this is a change for some supporters and appreciate your understanding as we take steps to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of Tiverton Town Football Club. Every pound saved through reduced banking and cash handling costs is money that can instead be invested back into the Club, our facilities and our teams.
