New faces at the helm for the Under 18's.

After a massively successful season last term, the 2026/27 campaign sees a few changes in the dugout. Looking to continue the sterling work carried out by Paul Harris and Dan Cartwright in that league and cup winning season will be newly appointed managers, Stevie King and Rich Barrass.

Though there will be valuable continuity with Jack Balchin remaining as Head Coach. With youth pathway side's it always somewhat of a revolving door, but we are hugely indebted to Paul and Dan; thanking them for all of the hard work that definitely paid off last term and wish them well in the future.

Head of Football Development at Tiverton Town Mike Ebdon gave his thoughts and insight on the new appointments, when saying;

“I'm absolutely delighted to have Richie and Stevie to join the club. They both come equipped with an incredible amount of experience in the game. I'm also extremely pleased that Jack has decided to stay after a successful campaign with the team last year.”

Elaborating on this, by expressing his belief that the team in place can have a pivotal part to play in bringing players through, he reasoned;

“I have no doubt that these three will provide a great platform for our young players to develop and hopefully continue with Tiverton Town for many years to come.”

Getting a perspective from one of the the new management team for the new season, we caught up with Stevie King and he proudly stated;

“I'm delighted to be taking on a coaching role for Tiverton Town U18's. This is an exciting opportunity to work with talented young players.

Our aim is to create a positive, hardworking environment where players can reach their full potential, while also establishing a pathway that supports their progression into senior football.”

King was also enthused about working with his fellow coaches and said;

“I'm also excited to be working alongside Rich and Jack and I look forward to what we can achieve. Most importantly we are eager to help the players grow and represent the club with pride”.
